Having worked across a mixture of creative and corporate design studios and marketing agencies, Katie is highly experienced at leading creative teams.Katie was Head of Design at FRUKT for over five years working across a range of media channels from the concepts to overseeing delivery by her team. Her unique understanding of brands and their strategic potential has allowed her to work on an array of clients, ranging from tech and finance through to alcohol and beauty products. Katie brings a unique combination of creativity and commercial awareness, delivering solutions that keep both project and client in mind.
Jade is a Creative Adventurer who's since graduating from St. Martins in 2008 worked for advertising giant Bartle Bogle Hegarty to digital boutique Hugo & Cat. With 10 years of diverse creative industry experience across a range of lifestyle brands from Sony, Starbucks, Levi’s, Ford Mustang to Burberry. She found her home last year at Total Experience Agency Tribal Worldwide where she joined the leadership team as Creative Director. She has maintained her belief in the value of creativity through the Information & Connected Age. In 2015 her passion and curiosity led to her side hustle CreativeAdventur.es where she runs a Journal & Workshop series for modern founders and young go-getters. Jade was Campaign’s Faces to Watch in 2009, selected for Cannes Lion ‘See It Be It’ programme 2016 and named Creative Equals & Campaign’s ‘30 Future Female Leaders’ in 2017. She is also a proud D&AD New Blood Judge and D&AD Shift Programme Speaker.
With 23 years experience in financial services and fintech, including 5 years as Senior Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Brand at Vocalink (a Mastercard Company), Cara is a seasoned marketer and communications expert with a passion for transforming and optimising B2B marketing functions globally. Cara joined Vocalink in 2013, with a remit to transform their global marketing strategy and align it to the business’ corporate strategy which included growing the business internationally and ultimately, getting it ready for a change in ownership. Vocalink was bought by Mastercard in May 2017; Cara was part of both the acquisition and integration team who managed the successful purchase over an 18 month period. Cara has also led marketing teams at Barclays, Morgan Stanley and WorldPay, growing businesses internationally through a deep understanding of what customers really want and need. She has devised commercially successful marketing strategies that leverage customer, market and product insight and deliver brand and sales success through fully integrated marketing and communications plans. She also has a passion for strengths-based leadership, growing multi-disciplined teams that manage all components of a digitally enabled, content driven marketing function.
Asad Dhunna is the Director of Communications for Pride in London (alongside 100+ other volunteers), which he manages alongside an agency career which has seen him consult brands including HSBC, Microsoft, TK Maxx, Freeview and Expedia and develop award winning campaigns over the past decade. In 2017 he was named one of PRWeek's 30 under 30 and took home silver in the UK PR Cannes Lions. He lives in what is arguably the world's smallest Venn diagram and writes, speaks and campaigns on what it means to be LGBT and Muslim today. His writing has appeared on the Huffington Post, Guardian, Independent, Vice and Newsweek and he has made appearances on Sky News, BBC Radio 4 and BBC Asian Network.
Recently celebrated by The Design Council as ‘Britain’s First Black Female Creative Director’ and as one of the Dots 2018 ‘Remarkable Women Making Change’ - Jo’s award-winning career has taken her from UK - USA - MENA working regionally for ad agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi and J. Walter Thompson; on the world’s leading brands including Coca-Cola. An active industry speaker at D&AD (SheSays), Dubai Lynx and a Guest Lecturer at St. Martins College of Art & Design; Jo is a pro-diversity advocate. She’s also a judge for The Design Week 2018 Awards.
Patrick Burgoyne has been the editor of Creative Review magazine since 1999. Before joining the magazine (as Staff Writer) he worked in marketing, first for the Body Shop and later for the University of Westminster, whilst also moonlighting as a writer for magazines such as The Big Issue. He is also the author of several books on design and visual culture and has written for many publications, including The Guardian and The Independent. Creative Review is the publication for the creative industries. Since 1980, first as a print magazine and now across multiple platforms, it brings the creative community together, with a focus on leadership, inspiration, insight, process and the value of creativity.
